Our services and products are continually updated. Assume you were unaware of one of our improvements. In that case, we’d like to remind you that we’ve started sending out release notes via a newsletter signup form regularly. So that you can get the most out of your experience, stay up to date, and know about our new features and continuing improvements. At most, once a month, release notes will be emailed out.
SCCM Connector major update
We’re continuing to improve and enhance our Microsoft ConfigMgr (SCCM) integration. We’ve been hard at work over the last few months and are glad to offer you various enhancements to this integration.
Releasing SCCM Packages deployment feature
Apptimized has launched SCCM packages deploying. SCCM packages – a containerizing technology used in Configurational manager 2007. These packages do not support detection methods, and for installation and uninstallation of the program, both packages are required.
Apptimized users can now choose between application and package SCCM deploying:
SCCM packages might be more suitable than the applications when the recurring schedule scripts and administrative tools should be deployed.
Meet multiple SCCM environment support
The system administrator should set up the install and uninstall commands for the correct SCCM deployment and generate an application package. The system administrator in Apptimized may keep track of all application changes and the package application on his own or request it through one of our services.
All these tasks are carried out within the SCCM environment. For various uses, such as testing, production, and so on, you can now establish safe and segregated SCCM Environments. As they are all part of the same portfolio, any application package may be used in any environment. Furthermore, those SCCM environments can operate concurrently.
Also available now is an ordered list of collection names for SCCM connection configuration. Each user with a properly configured SCCM connector has access to an ordered list of collections.
Intune connector integration expands with Icon and Publisher options
For Intune connector deployment integration, the ability to set the Publisher name has been made available.
The publisher option specifies the application’s developer, and now a user can fill in the value of this relevant field by himself. Adding icon support to a deployed program allows the user to add a graphical element for additional clarity.
Apptimized Care: introducing requesting the Catalogue applications from the Update Monitoring
