We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Application Packaging Engineer Course, designed to equip you with the skills necessary to become an expert in application packaging. This program offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry professionals and gain hands-on experience in a growing field. Upon successful completion, participants will be considered for future roles within our team of application packaging specialists.
The admission of candidates for the course begins with CV submissions from October 12 to December 15, followed by mandatory testing and interviews.
The course will last for three months in an offline format, giving participants the chance to learn valuable skills in application packaging. After finishing the program, candidates will go through a selection process, as we plan to hire people directly from this course.
Upon Course Completion, You Will:
- Learn how to package applications efficiently.
- Build a solid understanding of OS components and how to work with them.
- Develop practical PowerShell scripting skills.
- Gain hands-on experience with real-world application packaging scenarios.
- Work alongside other participants and industry experts.
Required Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related recognized qualification in an IT profession.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems. Understanding of Windows file systems and basic knowledge of the Windows registry. Familiarity with Windows services and device drivers. Basic comprehension of User Access Management, and Windows firewalls.
- Fundamental understanding of programming concepts (OOP, control flows, parametrization, etc.).
- Intermediate level of English (minimum B1, but B2 or higher will be preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- High level of proactivity and being capable of managing escalations.
- A genuine enthusiasm for learning and growing in the field of application packaging, with a proactive attitude towards acquiring new skills and knowledge.
Job Description:
- Application Packaging: Proficiently package software applications for deployment, sticking to Apptimized’s best practices and quality standards. Adapt applications to meet the specific requirements of clients.
- Packaging Expertise: Utilize specialized tools and common packaging technologies and formats (e.g., MSI, MSI-X, App-V, intunewin, etc.) on different OS (Windows, MacOS) to package applications and software updates.
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing and validation of packaged applications to ensure compatibility with target environments. Identify and resolve packaging-related issues to maintain high-quality standards.
- Deployment Expertise: Integration and distribution of software using common deployment systems (e.g., Intune, SCCM (MECM), etc.).
- Documentation Excellence: Maintain thorough documentation of packaging processes, configurations, and deployment procedures, contributing to our knowledge base.
- Problem Solving: Apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex packaging challenges. Investigate and find solutions for issues related to software deployment and compatibility.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies related to application packaging and deployment and proactively suggest improvements to enhance our products and services.
- Additional Activities: Engage in various additional activities, which may include participation in projects, delivering presentations, providing education, and mentoring to team members, and conducting training sessions. These activities contribute to the overall growth and development of the team and organization.
