Welcome to the Apptimized Q2 2025 release notes. This quarter, we’ve focused on strengthening automation, expanding multilingual capabilities, and making enterprise application management smoother across every stage — from packaging to deployment.
Packaging and Workflow Improvements
Consistency and reliability are critical when managing applications at scale. To support enterprise workflows, we’ve introduced several updates in packaging automation:
- Standardized Package Names
New projects now follow Packaging Guideline v1.8, ensuring consistent naming across the Portal. This is essential for automation and enterprise packaging workflows where precision matters. - Extended “View” Permissions in Updates
Users with view-only permissions can now see and search the full list of tracked applications. This improves governance, transparency, and audit readiness without expanding editing rights. - Smarter File Validation in Updates
Incoming source files are now verified by hash sum. This prevents duplication, avoids mismatched versions, and issues instant alerts if errors occur — strengthening reliability and compliance.
Raising the Bar with Automated Quality
Application quality is at the heart of automation. That’s why we’ve introduced the Care AQA Script, a new automated testing framework.
It configures launch parameters, processes test agents, and provides detailed audit logs. The result:
- Higher package quality
- Faster error detection
- Increased automation and statistical monitoring
With AQA, you get consistent results with less manual effort.
Smarter Connectors: Intune & SCCM
Pushing applications should be seamless, whether you use Intune or SCCM. In Q2, we delivered:
- Path to Executable Validation in SCCM
A new mechanism now checks archive structures to confirm the correct executable path during Deployment Type creation, reducing mismatches and improving reliability. - More Context in Intune Exception Messages
Project IDs are now included, giving IT teams clearer information for faster troubleshooting. - Improved Intune Auto-Push Process
The Auto-Push process now works with application IDs instead of names, providing more stability and precision. - Smarter Assignment Templates
- Group search now includes case-sensitive hints for more advanced filtering.
- “All Users” and “All Devices” can be selected directly as assignment groups.
- Templates and environments are now sorted alphabetically across project settings and modal windows.
Together, these enhancements save time, reduce errors, and simplify management for large enterprise deployments.
Safebox Maintenance Notifications
Clear communication is critical for planning. Safebox now includes configurable maintenance notifications, keeping your team informed of scheduled updates and ensuring uninterrupted workflows.
Multilingual Application Packaging
Managing software across multiple languages is no longer a barrier. With Q2 updates, Apptimized Care brings multilingual patch management into everyday packaging workflows.
You can now request and deploy localized patches in the languages your users rely on directly from your dashboard. Combined with new language management features in UM Admin, your teams can:
- Define a default application language for every version.
- Manage supported languages centrally for Care and related services.
- Ensure that updates reach users in their preferred language, improving clarity, productivity, and compliance.
By eliminating English-only limitations, Apptimized helps international enterprises reduce support overhead, speed up deployments, and deliver a more intuitive user experience.
